Corlet Numéric has invested in a new sheet-fed digital printing and finishing system
Tecnau Stack 1010 solution inline to the Océ VarioPrint i-300 color inkjet press
Corlet Numéric, one of the leading French commercial and book on demand printers, has just invested in a new sheet-fed digital printing and finishing system. The complete line will feature the Tecnau Stack 1010 solution inline to the Océ VarioPrint i-300 color inkjet press. The system is scheduled to be installed during summer 2019 in order to be ready for production early this autumn after a training period beginning in September.
Corlet group covers a significantly wide range of applications. With the new cutsheet inkjet installation, Corlet may better support customers’ need to move from long-run offeset prints to highly variable short-run publications.
The Stack 1010 solution, configured with two dynamic cross blades and a side trimming cartridge with an optionally activated central knife, will produce 1-up or 2-up stacks delivered on an exit conveyor.
For book on demand applications, offset stacking will allow job-by-job separation for easy operator handling and movement to further finishing processes. On commercial print applications, offset stack may be disabled for longer runs of brochures or other marketing materials.
Inline with the innovative Océ VarioPrint i-series color inkjet press, the Stack 1010 allows light-weight text-based applications as well as high quality graphic arts productions, providing a full range of possibilities with the flexibility of a digital solution.
