Digital book production will take centre stage on the Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS) stand at next month’s PrintWeekLive!
The Hertfordshire-headquartered post-press specialist’s stand will act as a production workspace running live demos on a Tecnau Stack 2320 high-speed rotary cut/stack line, a Horizon BQ-470 perfect binder, a Foliant Vega 400A laminator with optional digital foiling and a Horizon HT-30C automated book trimmer.
The production line will be producing two different-sized book blocks, using paper supplied by Crown van Gelder. Text pages will be printed by IFS partner Ricoh on a Ricoh Pro VC6000 high speed inkjet line, with covers printed on a Ricoh Pro C9110. A number of the books will then be displayed on the IFS and Ricoh stands.
